Frequently Asked Questions

To help club chairmen, secretaries, and directors understand how Pitchside Partners (PSP) and VenueMindAI work together, we have answered the most common questions regarding the new legislation and our services.

1. What is Martyn’s Law, and does it apply to my club?

Martyn’s Law (the Terrorism Protection of Premises Bill) is a new UK legal requirement designed to improve public safety at venues. If your club’s stadium or premises has a capacity of over 100 people, you will likely fall into the "Standard Tier," while larger venues (800+) fall into the "Enhanced Tier." Our role is to ensure you meet these legal obligations without the stress of navigating complex paperwork.

2. Is the VenueMindAI app just another risk assessment tool?

No. While traditional risk assessments are often static documents that sit in a drawer, the VenueMindAI app is a live compliance portal. It provides a real time Compliance Score, identifies specific security gaps, and serves as a digital vault for all your essential safety documents. It tells you exactly what is missing and how to fix it.

3. We are a grassroots club with limited funds. Can we afford this?

We specifically focus on the sustainability of lower league clubs. Our "boots on the ground" contract auditing service often finds enough "revenue leaks" or savings in existing contracts, like your pouring rights, to more than cover the cost of the compliance tools. We aim to make professional compliance a cost neutral investment through smarter commercial management.

4. How does a "Contract Audit" actually work?

We don't just look at the numbers; we look at the fine print. We review your agreements with breweries, waste management, and catering suppliers. In our work with Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC, for example, auditing and renegotiating contracts led to an immediate 22% reduction in operational overheads.

5. Will using these tools take up too much of our volunteers' time?

Actually, it’s the opposite. The app is designed to save time by automating the reporting process. Instead of volunteers spending hours guessing what safety measures are needed, the app provides a clear, step by step checklist. We also help you structure your volunteer roles to make matchday operations smoother and more efficient.

6. Can you help us increase our matchday income?

Yes. By reviewing your current fan experience and hospitality offerings, we identify ways to increase secondary spend. In previous projects, we have seen matchday food and beverage income increase by 50% through better operational planning and fan engagement strategies.
